Costa Rica Retreat with Taita Juan Agreda Chindoy
Posada Natura Retreat Center hosts Taita Juan Agreda Chindoy for a unique opportunity that offers participants an in depth experience with traditional amazonian medicine. Taita Juan
will lead participants through 4 traditional plant medicine ceremonies
throughout the week. Celina De Leon, co-founder of Posada Natura Retreat Center and student of Taita Juan will host the retreat.
She is also a certified yoga instructor, student of ayurveda, and has
extensive experience hosting interdisciplinary retreats at Posada
Natura. Other optional activities through-out the week include yoga
classes, ayurveda rejuvenation treatments, private consultations with Taita Juan, a nearby trip to Manuel Antonio Beach, and hikes through the retreat center's accompanying private rainforest reserve to waterfalls and swimming holes.
Posada
Natura is ideally situated along the Naranjo river and nestled between
the Eco Era rainforest reserve and the stunning central pacific

Taita Juan Agreda Chindoy
Taita Juan
Agreda Chindoy is an indigenous Cametsa traditional healer from the
Sibundoy Valley of the Alto Putumayo of Colombia. He is a recognized
lineage holder of traditional medicine and an established healer and
leader in his community with over 20 years of experience working with yaje (ayahuasca) and other forms of plant and energy medicine. He has extensive experience with
treating multifaceted aspects of mind, body, and spirit and he is well
versed in healing conditions that are not treated well by other forms
of medicine. In addition to being recognized by the Colombian ministry
of health, Taita Juan has also, since a young age, been learning about traditional medicine from his father Taita
Martin and has studied under many elders throughout the Amazon. He is a
true traditional medicine doctor and he is currently the governor of
his indigenous community. The opportunity to sit in ceremony with him offers a unique chance to approach yourself and traditional amazonian medicine in an authentic way.

POSADA NATURA
is located in the small town of Londres near the larger cities of
Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Participants will fly into San Jose
International Airport and from there one can either take a short flight
to Quepos Airport and then a taxi to the retreat center OR transportation via taxi can be arranged from the airport to the retreat itself. Transportation to the retreat center is the responsibility of the participant though we can help with all arrangements and questions.
